Exhaustive Listing of all performed checks:
1) Calculates Parent Zone from form Input (TLD, I.E.: .com, .net, .org, etc)
2) Begins by checking a root DNS server. This allows us to walk from the Internet Root servers all the way down to the last DNS server holding information on the checked domain.
3) Checks if the ROOT server is providing glue for all of your DNS servers (Both the Name and IP of your domain is listed)
4) Checks if the ROOT server is providing glue for the domain in general (Name and IP for all servers on your domain are returned)
5) Checks the number of DNS servers you have registered for your domain
6) Ensures that the number of name servers is within the proper limits, outlined in RFC2182
7) Start of Authority (SOA) Checks:
a. Checks if all the SOA serial numbers agree across all servers listed as DNS for your domain
b. Checks if your SOA serial is in the standard SOA format
c. Checks to see if the SOA refresh is set to a value that falls within the guidelines of RFC1912
d. Checks to see if your SOA retry is set to a proper value

This script would be great for those running a SEO website who wishes to offer their users the functionality of a site similar to dnsstuff. It is also a good way for those who have control over their DNS servers to accurately monitor their setup. The blocklist checking is by itself invaluable to a webmaster who might be looking to purchase a domain, to ensure they do not purchase a domain already included in blocklists(spam lists), and also allow webmasters to check inclusion of already owned domains on the same lists and then take remediation actions with the proper entities.
