Hi,
I tried to access the website in the last days buy I couldn't reach it.
Is anyone else experiencing it?
Thanks!
Ron never gave me no cookies!Have you cleared your cache and deleted any dnjournal.com cookies?
Yep. I tried another browser too..
I don't know what else I can do now
...most useless threads i've ever come across are those of "something.com is down!" kind
godaddy is down, flippa is down, dnjournal is down, something-useless.com is down - wtf? what do we do? what about our .com investments - are they worthlerss now? did north korea attack sedo? icann cancelling 4L domains? F. Schilling bought out everything right to the dot including commas and underscores...omg!!! anyone experiencing the same??
just wait a couple of hours/days till your beloved something.com upgrades their php 4 to php 5.3 or move their wordpress installation from shared hosting to a budget vps cause that would allow for even more "Share me on BlahBlah" plugins, full width 1and1 banners and cool 3rd tier registrar ads...
no harm intended, just sharing my hate for free...

If they are so useless why do you waste your precious time to comment on them? Are so in need of spreading hate that you can't help it?...
i'm sorry, my deepest apologies...that's because of bad weather and some other things i now forgot about ..i was sending my hate to everyone around including my cat (she's not damaged, i checked in the morning - i just told her she's a fat and lazy heap of fur..which is actually true).
if you use Windows press Start, find Command prompt, type "ping -c 5 dnjournal.com", press Enter... check the number of packets lost.
type "tracert 208.99.113.125", press Enter
post your results

So..
you are a cat person
So I followed your hi tech suggestion BUT do I have to type the inverted commas too?
yes, i am a cat person... and i hate them too, with my fat Alice being definately the most hated one
..i am yet to figure out how this is possible at all
sorry i forgot to mention that - NO commas or quotes.
when you see something like C:> just type in ping -c 5 dnjournal.com and press Enter
after you see % of lost packets and C:> showing again do the same with tracert 208.99.113.125 - type it in and press Enter
if there's 100% packet lost and/or "destination is unreachable" sort of outcome you basically have 3 options to go deeper:
- open a ticket with your internet provider
- check if it works via a proxy server on another ip subset (just google for "free proxy")
- try to purge your DNS cache and/or change your default DNS servers to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 (google)
that's what i would do to see where to go next..
i'm afraid i cant provide detailed instructions on cleaning your DNS cache/changing DNS servers/etc as i dont use windows - you'll need to do some googling but that's not rocket science really..
good inication of what's going on would be checking the site from another computer on a same network or from the same computer from different network (provider), if possible of course..
