DMOZ is not a very popular keyword. I can only see 1 sale, DMOZ.li selling for $81 in July 07. Then you have a potential trademark issue on top if you use it in relation to the DMOZ directory.
.pro isn't in the tank but you do need good keywords. I had a $750 offer for Gadget.pro this week and an expression of interest in Training.pro. You don't need to be Einstein to work out why somebody might be interested in those keywords in .pro. I average about 1 bid or expression of interest per week for my .pros which isn't bad considering the restrictions.
If you take the very top keywords, something like Casino.pro has 32 previous bids on Sedo and was only regged in 2005. If you take into account the fact only 10% of people are eligible to register .pro, that's like getting 320 bids in an unrestricted gTLD.
The fact is the extension is easy to like because it says what virtually every developer is trying to convey to an end user. If only RegistryPro could make it easier to register, it would be alot more popular. Whatever people say about .pro, it will never change the fact that it sounds impressive. 15,000 US trademarks including the word "Pro" prove that.
