Here's a little information from wikipedia: "Direct dial or direct distance dialing is a means of placing a long distance telephone call in which the person making the call dials the number directly rather than going through an operator. It is the least expensive means of making a telephone call, as compared with operator-assisted telephone calls, such as long distance calls made at a pay phone, collect or person-to-person calls."

Direct Dial can also describe a phone number that bypasses "computer" answering systems and goes directly to a human.

"Direct Dial" has over 17million results in google.

well directdial.com is developed, you might be able to sell it to them. Hard to put a value on it imo, buydomains owns the .net, contact them to see how much they are asking
