Dinar = a type of currency used by many countries in the middle east, I'm specifically interested in the Iraqi Dinar (viewed as an investment by many)

With that said, you seem to have more insight into this than me...is there a large following of people investing solely in THIS currency, that they would want to talk about it? What would they talk about? It seems like there is only so much you can talk about with something so limited.

Well, it's a pretty small community, relatively to forex anyway. But it's building rapidly. Investorsiraq.com is probably the biggest forum (3300 members). There's also portaliraq.com, betoniraq.com, safedinar.com, why-buy-dinar.com, a whole mess of dealers who make a killing on reselling the currency as an investment. Generally, resellers make about $300 per $1000 sale (about 1 million Iraqi dinar), and true investors are buying between 5 - 100 million dinar each. So I'd say it's pretty lucrative.

Anyway, I was just thinking of developing a forum and using Adsense. . . . see how that goes.

I don't know, are there enough people out there that want to talk about dinars to sustain a whole forum about it? Perhaps.
