Diluted.com

One word, I kinda like it. I've had it for roughly 6 years. Diluted.net expired on me and someone stole it within minutes.

Application though? Not sure, maybe a possible brand name. Diluted Earnings per Share is all that comes to mind, possible stock market application.

Any rough opinions on market value?

Hey maybe try and contact the person who snapped up diluted.net to see if they would like to buy it :tu:

Try targetting dilutable squash drinks companies like Robinsons in the UK to see if they would have any interest.

Just hold onto it. What would e.g. cahoot be worth if the company wasnt there? Not much. Wait and a company may purchase it off you. Ya never know!

Guys, read the original post.

He LOST the domain by letting it expire, so it now belongs to someone else.
I personally think that losing a domain and THEN asking for its value is a variety of masochism.

I think he is asking for the value of the .com, he lost the .net. I think it's a valuable domain name worth keeping.

 Right Leo. Although not all of the time, there are times when the exact same thought crosses my mind about the domaining business, as a whole. [SMILEY: POUNDING HEAD INTO DESK: ]

Agreed. Although on the surface, it would appear to be a bit difficult to work w/ and market, I have seen wonders done w/ "difficult" names by creating subdomains w/ them, for instance. And, hey, it is a single word .com. Heck, I regged dexterously com, and blithely com, so I don't have any bad words to say about this domain and can see some creative ways tin which it's potential could be maximized.

No, it's sadism.

Where were you when I was in a bad mood yesterday?

As for the domain, I think it's a great REAL dictionary word. Some will say its past tense but in fact its also an adjective (diluted orange, diluted EPS). I wouldn't like to put a value on it as I think you'll get underpaid at wholesale value and its difficult to call on what an end user will pay for it, so I would sit on it and perhaps develop some form of website about stocks and shares (perhaps just general information).

Best of luck!

I've heard "diluted" used in slang...even though I can't seem to find it in a slang dictionary.

e.g., "She completely diluted."

I'd hold onto it and even offer it to diluted.net for low to mid xxx.

Diluted

I think it is a very brandable "one-word" domain name. Hang on to it...

Sorry for not "starting my own thread" before. I am new here and Apologize, especially to KillaClown, whom didn't give me the warm fuzzies on my first day posting.. :(

Welcome to NP, DOMAINIAC. Sorry for the rough initiation, but it probably has prompted you to read some of the rules and regs which will help avoid future unpleasant encounters. Usually we try to look at the #posts/join date and show a little more leniency, but, we all have our days and moods, including you, I assume.
Here's a warm fuzzy for you-> 8-X :lol:

The only thing I can think of at the moment is some sort of news site but just showing lots of small extracts of information.

(Diluted - make thinner or less concentrated)
