Did you know Google knows everything about you?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if you all knew that google scans every computer daily and knows everything you have on your pc??

Don't believe me? Check your "scheduled tasks". Google scans each pc everyday.

What do you think about this? Too much power IMO.

Google kicks ass. The process is probably just indexing your harddrive so you can search for files on your computer faster. If you don't trust them (and you probably shouldn't) don't use any google products.

well... they, at the very least, know my name is Chuck U. Farley and that my phone line is actually in the neighbors garden shed! (yeah, pump up the volume, dig it!). I am sure they know more about me then they ever cared to know, but.... so do my neighbors probably!

This is exactly the reason I DON'T use Google Desktop -- I like my privacy!

If you let someone in to snoop around such as Google, it's just not so private anymore, is it?!?!?

Privacy is an illusion.

My life tends to be one big fantasy in general so this still works well for me...
