domain Did I get a good deal on this PR6 domain?

I just bought the following PR6 domain for $200.
http://www.hillaryclintonisyournewbicycle.com/

The PR is valid (I checked). I know the domain isn't very good because it is so long and also because Hillary Clinton won't be in the news as much now that she is out of the race for president. I still thought it was a good buy, however, simply because of the Pagerank and the quality backlinks it has. What do you guys think?

When I check, it shows PR 0 on some site, and PR6 on other sites.

If it's 6, that's a good deal, better do something before the next PR update.

Find all backlinked url of your site.
Recreate urls exactly as before and create some relevant contents on it.

The PR is valid. It has 330 backlinks according to http://www.backlinkwatch.com/ .

The site was on Time.com and other news sites. That's how it got the PR.

All datacenters at digpagerank.com show PR 6.

Additionally, a check of info:hillaryclintonisyournewbicycle.com returns a valid result in the Google index (no redirect):

Glad it helped. The fact I wouldn't pay $200 doesn't mean it isn't necessarily worth $200 in the right hands. It's just that I don't tend to buy domains based solely on PR/backlinks as I'm not good at developing and PR can disappear quickly if parked.

I can't see anyone ever wanting to develop that one so if you can't convert any traffic to paying clicks then the PR is not much use whatsover...IMHO

I originally saw a similar domain being used with Barack Obama's name instead of Hillary Clinton. The domain with Obama's name turned into a book due to the website's success.

Honestly i would never buy a name PURELY on PR.

The name does check out for its PR. Seems like it was/is a blog and has genuine backlinks on other blogs and such.

For the price i think you got ripped because of how long the domain is. If i were you, i would keep that site going and maybe sell some links and stuff. Recoupe your money and then sell it.
