Been reading too many 'appraisals' which are more like 'roasts' in fact almost all the replies to this subforum are in the negative, most asking the OP to drop the name.

That being said, having the domain sitting here for more than one day without receiving a single reply kind of give me the assurance that this domain might be worth something to hold on to. I for myself only want people's opinions since I'm still new to this business no matter how far they might go in roasting me so I don't really take it personal.

I wouldn't build a portfolio that way.

Now that I look at it, doing these appraisals are a waste of time. Only a few people do them, most people get upset when they get a bad review and people seem to just keep registering junk.

I'm not going to bother doing these anymore. Maybe someone else will do it, but I dont see many wanting to.

From those 25 names, only 8 names were approved.Two weeks later, I got an email that one of those names SOLD. The name was a 5letter.com. The name started with DEX. If you don't know, DEX stands for Decentralized Exchange.

I don't know if this is addressing me or the people posting their domains in the appraisals, I think I made it clear that I accept criticism. In fact, I actually invited people to roast me in case they see that I'm in the wrong.

I'm not going to bother doing these anymore.

This post is basically what gave me the heads up to reg this name. Found that the majority of DEX+(VC) names were taken but to my surprise this one was available although the letter A is excellent as a company name's first letter, almost endless possibilities. Also the letter F for the second word of a financial company's name has an abundance of keywords as shown above.

Domains' price is unpredictable. Pronounceable 5 letters domain, if it doesn't sound alike any trademark domain, it will be sold someday.

And there are many dictionary words that won't be sold (To endusers)

True, it seems that prefix+keyword+suffix(and sometimes a couple more prefixes or suffixes) are still considered a dictionary word but they are very low tier with no practical use IMO.
