Alright....

I currently own a few domains, im new to the buying/selling - parking domains etc.

I own 3 domains, they are, adultsfaq.com, windowshackers.com and advancedautomobiles.com

I would like to, if possible develop windowshackers.com and/or advancedautomobiles.com. Ive seen a few people on here develop certain domains, my question is, are they domains you developed something you know about?

For Windows Hackers.com I would like it to be a place with guides and tricks for doing certain things in windows like what services dont need to be running and other things of that nature to boost performance etc. I believe I could write a few articles but not all of the content.....

For Advanced Automobiles.com I would like it to be a site with information about alternative fuel cars, electric, hybrid, e-85 etc. As well as information on subjects as crazy as magnetic suspension and the like. Of course, once again, I may be all to write a couple things but not certainly as in depth as other websites with more experience.

So my question to you is, where do I get the content from?

Ive thought about linking to articles on other websites, with the owners permission of course, I figure that would give me both visitors, as well as some nice backlinks...

Ive also thought about having a forum, I know it would be hard to get people to sign up and post, but once people posted on certain subjects/topics I thought about posting a link in the ARticles section of the site right to the forum thread about it...

Im sorry this has been so long winded, but I am new to this and I would really like some input.

THank you All

Hey LazyD
You certainly sound like yur on the right track. As far as content goes, there are numerous sites that offer content and article writting for reasonable amounts of money. I think you would be looking at around $5 per artical, but you'd have to check. Search for freelance content writting and you'l have a good few sites to look through. Check out Google Adsense and others for income generation for the sites.
Forums are reasonably hard to get going, and it may be worth your while getting the site up first, as it may help you get people signed up for the forum.
Good luck with it, they are nice domains.

I would suggest to brose through article sites such as these and if you see content/articles that appeals to you the most to contact the author and ask if they are interested in writing unique content for your site.

Think it through and ask yourself what kind of topics do i exactly want and browse for similar like content on these article sites and contact the authors.

You can also place an ad on freelance sites such as these:

http://www.scriptlance.com
http://www.getafreelancer.com

http://www.hireacoder.com
http://www.elance.com
http://www.programmingbids.com
http://www.guru.com
http://www.cityitjobs.net
http://www.GetACoder.com
http://www.codelance.com
http://www.Project4Hire.com

Mention the kind of articles you would like people to write for you and make a choice whom you wish to hire.
Ask for previous work that they have delivered and look if they have an own website, their rating -- see if those ratings came from jobs with substantial amounts or if they where all $3 jobs -- which would indicate possible scam artist at work.
There is cheap labor available and you get what you pay for. And with the specific content such as window hacks you have to be picky who you choose.

A lot of times duplicate/stolen content is being provided as unique articles with the people that offer $5 pricing. I takes research and time so once again you get what you pay for.
And if you find and honest and good writer...cherish them :) and you will build a fruitfull relationship.

Do your research thorougly if you wish to find an article writer on freelance sites.
All the best.

I guess im not as familiar with freelance writers as id like, but if I posted on one of those sites asking for a freelance article writer, I guess it would be a good idea to make sure people know what topic they would be writing on. Which brings me to my next point, if I was to say, try to hire someone to write articles for my automobile site, do you think there are many poeple out there with enough expertise, or experience to write about alternative fuel cars?

When you post your project, you should ask the freelance writer if he had any experience writing automobile articles. You can also ask him to show you some of the articles he has written.
Some writers have a lot of imagination and even though they might not had much experience about your topic, they are pretty good at researching the topic and producing good quality articles.

Don't forget to add a forum on your automobile site and also put some google adsense ads there. You can make some money that way.
