Hello,
Please appraise the following community website. Im thinking of selling this community with all the tools that have been implemented into it. Below is more detailed description:
Site name: DesignWorldWide.com
http://www.designworldwide.com
Complete custom design by me with a lot of code modification to better fit the design.
Some cool stuff:
Front: http://www.designworldwide.com/images/img1.gif
Forum: http://www.designworldwide.com/images/img2.gif
Postbit w/ Reply box: http://www.designworldwide.com/images/img3.gif
Completely redid the profile look (postbit look for it): http://www.designworldwide.com/images/img4.gif
Its a design forum and obviously big images WILL get posted, so I made this hack to protect the board from getting messed up (stretched out, etc.):
http://www.designworldwide.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35
Note: Hack is available on vbulletin.org
Custom additions:
-A journal system that will let users create their own journal. How does this differ from any journal hack found on vbulletin.org? Well, users are in complete control of their journal. They can edit its settings as well as modify its look using a template system. The system is still buggy however its well on its way to creating a powerful and most importantly UNIQUE system for the community. The journal is then accessible by a short URL: http://username.forumname.com. For ex: http://dimitry.designworldwide.com
Some images of the system:
In UserCP: http://www.designworldwide.com/images/blog1.gif
In BlogCP (when you click on the title of entry it opens up the actual entry under it.. a little CSS work to preserve space): http://www.designworldwide.com/images/blog2.gif
Settings & Template: http://www.designworldwide.com/images/blog3.gif
-Image host: Another completely custom feature coded by me. It lets users upload image files using the browser which are then accessible through a custom URL, for example: http://www.designworldwide.com/imagehost/Dimitry/sneak.jpg where Dimitry is the username and sneak.jpg is image name. Images are editable in the control panel and can be renamed or deleted at any time. Admin panel has a monitor feature that tells bandwidth usage and total disk space.
I believe that this community is still on its way to be great, but it has taken many steps already. I simply do not have anymore time currently to take care of it and take it to the level I beleive it SHOULD be at (working 6 out of 7 days of the week). Please appraise to you best knowledge or PM me if you're really interested and would like to make an offer right away.
Thank you very much
Dimitry
