To be honest, I'm surprised self-determination.org went for that much. The seller got real lucky, imo.

If I were to use that as a sales comparable, then I'd have to value your domain at at least mid $xx,xxx.

However, I don't think it's worth that much. With consideration to the domain extension and development potential, I don't see too much commercial value - maybe a blog or something.

With that said, low $x,xxx for reseller. Mid to high $x,xxx for end-user.

Also, a similar domain of lesser quality sold for over 4k. So not only is it possible to get mid $x,xxx for a name like this, it's actually happened. On top of that this one is undeniably better. But I understand that's your opinion.

Not every sell is "real." You have to keep that in mind.... .

On top of that, .org is a stronger extension than .net imo

It's a possibility that it's not real, but you definitely should assume it's real opposed to just assuming it's fake for no reason. I mean it's listed on multiple sales websites. It seems like you assumed it was fake.

Also, .net's generally sell for slightly more than what .org's sell for.

But regardless of that, a one word term is much better than a two word term, especially when the two word term contains a dash. This domain is much more generic and that needs to be factored in as well.

i think it's low x,xxx for end user, and low xxx for resseller.
and it's hard to find end user with this kind of name.
in my opinion it's would end no more than 300 dollar if you auction on godaddy,
and for self-determination.org, i won't take that even the price is only 10 dolar.
