Just type "destination expert" on Google and you will find this is a very common term. Even Trip Advisor markets destination experts.

I actually like it, its a brilliant blog type domain name perhaps someone who is more website savvy can easily turn it into a site that allow local people from all over the world to post about their cities and offer advise to people who are travelling to that city.

Something like the forums on tripadvisor but more content from people who have travelled or live in a particular country, I am very bad at appraisals but can easily see it make 50-250USD to the right buyer wishing to develop it, if I knew how to develop sites I would make an offer of at least 75USD and I work in travel and aviation, hope this helps.
