I'm planning on selling this domain DesignGifts(dot)com. It's 12yrs old. All major TLD's are registered with the same keywords.

Can be used for a customized-gifts site. Something like cafepress?

How much do you think I should price it to re-sell?

Would it be a good idea If I hire a broker? :)

Nice name!
Global searches for "design gifts" 1,100
Global approximate CPC "design gifts" 0.93 USD

I would develop it, if possible, and get monthly income.
For quick sale, maybe mid to high $xxx.
For end-user sale, maybe mid to high $x,xxx

The other problem is to get full value for domains means waiting and / or marketing for a long time.
Quicker sale = cheaper price.
You may be able to find a web builder in your area to partner with you.
They might build the site and split the profits with you.
And that could possibly be a faster path to profits than selling.

How many names have you sold so far?

Nice!
Hundreds of members in NP would like to be able to say that.
I only sold 5 so far: from $250 to 1,200.
It's fun to sell, and the money helps.
What I really want is to turn my better names into businesses that pay me every month.

I like this name. You snagged a good one. I agree with DomainBizDev's estimation. It might be difficult to find an end-user for this one though just since it's a very specific topic.

It's actually good for a few different specialties:
1. Design your suctom gifts.
2. Gifts for designers (actually saw that on Google)
3. High design gifts (like you see in museum gift shops)
