Design messed up in diff. resolutions

how can i fix my design to look the same in all resolutions? its a simple and lightweight design using xhtml+css.

when viewed in different resolutions, the design appears flawed - ie, sidebars out of place, etc.

any helpful tips/suggestions?

Can I ask what the site is? I have had many problems, and usually end up using fixed width, although if you could tell us, may have the solution.

Use width for tables or DIV's as 100%. That will solve the problem.
