Design for IE7 yet?

When should I start designing with IE7 in mind? Because there have been some CSS bug fixes in IE7, but the page would look like crap in IE6 if I went with purely IE7 designing. How much longer should I wait before making the move to IE7?

Sorry to say IE7 is a firefox ripoff. As for compatibility, dunno probably will have the same flaws microsoft ie6 had.

I personally would wait with conforming your designs to be specific for IE7 until it's released (or shortly before). With bug fixes being made, it's kind of pointless to "hack" up your sites to work in IE7 and then have some issues resolved. Unless you have some really weird coding issues, it shouldn't be hard to convert sites to work in IE7 in the future anyways

Read around at different designer sites to see how imminent the switchover from IE6 to IE7 to give you a better timetable for addressing those IE issues.
