Denied by Adwords !?

I tried to promote my poker website which is nothing more than a poker discussion group. This was my response from Adwords


Disapproval Reason

Gambling Certificate Required: Your ad has been disapproved per our <a
href=http://adwords.google.com/support/bin/static.py?page=guidelines.cs&topic=9271&subtopic=9279&answer=47220>gambling
policies</a> because you do not have an approved gambling certificate
for the country your ads are targeting.

Why would I need a gambling certificate if it is nothing more than poker talk?

What country are you targeting? If it's UK, you need a license to advertise any gambling-related content. If it's USA, your site is probably a closer match to the "disallowed" list than the short list of "allowed" content.
