Hand reg'd this a few weeks ago.

Meaning - The process of changing corporate structure from a mutual fund company to some other form, such as a limited liability or corporation.

Does it have any value ?

A couple of things attracted me to this name -

First - the "De" at the beginning in terms of Country name abreviation

Second "mutualize" and "mutualise" both taken.

The word is not commonly used - perhaps in time it may become a jingo word / phrase like 'subprime' or as known over here as 'lowdoc' who knows.

I am fairly new to domaining, and I have read many posts over the past months - about researching and not reg'ing duds. Perhaps I need to do more research !

De - may be u thought abt germany. so german mutual funds will work

but De in the begining may user think -ve also so choose carefully while developing

A few years ago this might have been worth a little. There was a rush of people joining building societies (mutuals) and forcing them to become banks, i.e. demutualising. Unfortunately this is in the UK, so as pommyG says, it would have to be demutualiSe. As for the US having mutual societies which they want changed? Dunno....
