.mobi Decvelopment Ideas for Premium .mobi's, Please?

Can I ask you all for any thoughts/ideas you may have for a development concept for each (or any) of the following domains?


All ideas are welcome...I'm looking for a core idea for each site...something interesting, exciting, and looks good....

It'd be great if I could get a bit more from my .mobi sites than just, say, text & links...Sort of think outside the box a little...Maybe interactive ideas/concepts? Hook visitors into something enjoyable & rewarding? Something with a 'wow' factor?

...Being .mobi, a concept must have fast d/l, and be practical for 'on the go' people.


Any ideas for any of the sites would be very welcome.

DT, just a quick technical question if I may:

In theory the famous mandatory requirements are not restrictive at all, since you can have anything you like on a .mobi site as long as you only serve the high-powered content to the handsets able to handle it properly.

Question: other than the stated constraints of fast download times and practicality on the move, are you limited to certain programming languages?

BTW, this looks like a great idea for a thread to focus minds on what really matters.

I'm not a techo bloke, myself, Mobi....So, I'll be putting them into the hands of a developer to do that stuff for me....

...But, as long as we meet the compliance requirements set by mTLD - and rate a 5/5 at ready.mobi (which confirms it) - I'd guess that any program language that can achieve that would be fine...


Of course, it may be that some progamming languages can't meet the compliance specs for .mobi.....tho, reading the .mobi specs, the compliance requirements, although specific, don't seem onerous to me...
