Dealing with 'number plates'?

Sup guys,

Has anyone ever heard of dealing with number plates, number plate marketplaces and all that things?

It is in someway similiar as like number domains - only a bit more crazier. In some countries they are in a great demand and a huge status symbol, many number combinations are even more worth there than a luxury car, house, and so on, some rare plates are even going into the 8 figure section.

The most popularity they got in the gulf states, so with this in mind, is there any Emirati, Qatari, Saudi, Kuwaiti or Bahraini, .. here in the forum who could tell us more about that stuff?

I also heard of Switzerland and England, but I do think that it is that big there like in the middle east countries.

Interesting to say the least. I haven't given much thought to this aspect really. Pitching a domain name of numbers to the owner of the license plate I am assuming.
