Hi..a tough one this as .cc's havent really taken off but as there are still a lot of untaken ones I wouldnt say its off very high value tbo...

maybe mid to high xx...but I know they cost more initially dont they so Im not sure if this will be good or bad news to you!!!

I think that you could make a great website about closed captioning. Market it like this: "Deaf? Try Closed Captioning.... deaf.cc"

You will be able to get at least mid xx for this domain, probably even very low xxx. Develop it and it will be worth much more of course.

I don't know if you could really develop the closed captioning idea. It seems a bit rude and blunt to call someone "deaf", usually I hear terms like "hearing impaired" to be a bit kinder and gentler to those people, not saying hearing imparied would make a great domain or anything.

Personally I'd hold on to it. You'll most likely be able to get low to mid $xxx at the most since it's a short four-letter, one syllable word.

Rep added for all! I especially like the idea of closed captioning with .cc I hadn't even thought of that. I am hoping .cc will take off as I have quite a few short, commercial .cc domains.

Reg. Fee Now...Cannot predict the value for .cc in the future...Because lots of ccTLDs are releasing and the internet is going to be as segregated as it gets

This is exactly what I thought when I first saw the name. This is one of the better uses I have seen for this namespace. I'll say $30 to $40 reseller and $250 $350 to an end user.
