Okay, I know this all may sound a bit strange, but I'm trying to figure something out.
So, Dave Shaw was a scuba diver that passed away in an attempt to recover the body of a scuba diver that had also died 10 years earlier. It is an extremely sad, tragic story.
I found out about him after stumbling upon this video:
scuba, cave diving ''The Big Black'' The last dive of David Shaw 21 43, XviD format - YouTube
In the video, they mention he has his own site called "deepcave.com", cool domain, I checked it out thinking it surely would be a landing page or just not found, but to my surprise, is it the same site they featured in the video, he even has a page dedicated to the body recovery that he was going to attempt and said to stay tuned for more updates on it, it's like a frozen time machine looks like he was updating it somewhat frequently up until his death.
So Dave passed in 2005, that was 16 years ago... How is this site still online?
I can only think, that he either paid for like 20 years of hosting, someone is keeping the site up in remembrance, or his hosting company that has stayed in business this long just has archived his hosting and there was an issue...
Any answers???
