In the keyword tool, down the left hand side you'll see 'match types'; deselect 'broad' and select only the 'exact' box, then do the search again. Your phrase gets 8100 exact monthly searches. Broad means nothing and is wildly inflated.

4 words, very long, difficult to optimize for good serps, no advertisers to speak of except the guy who wrote a couple books with that phrase in the title. Cannot see anyone buying this domain, and cannot see it being profitable or receiving traffic without a large amount of development.

It's been regged before, only for a year starting in 2010. Then dropped, probably because they realized there's nothing they could do with this one.

You've had it a couple weeks now so it's past any refund period. Ignore it and let it expire, is my feeling, and don't waste any more of your valuable life energy on it... unless you have a great interest in the subject and want to create a site around it anyway. If that's the case, have fun. If it's not the case, kill the domain

I want to develop this into a full blown website dealing with all the different types of data structures and algorithms for interviews.

I am getting the exact search for google keywords as 8100 [] but for "phrases" I am getting 60,000.

I am hoping to get to the top results whenever anyone types in Data Structures.

What's that obsession with google searches and metrics ?

The metrics alone don't mean much. For example, this domain is too long and a bit awkward. Just having the 'right' keywords is not enough. The domain should look good and have a clear use.

Also, the metrics do not reflect the potential for resale. I don't see buyers for a name like that, even if there were a thriving market for 'data structures and algorithms'...

To me it sounds like a heading of a blog post. It's not even worth development. Find a shorter domain and spend your time and energy on it.
