The 4d printing thing has come up in threads before. No doubt it will be widely used but whether the public will know or care is another question - it may just be a B2B concept.

For many people 4dprinting will just be 3dprinting with special materials - the public may just see these products as being smart or using smart materials.

Outstanding domain. It may not be as consumer driven as the 3D printer but it offers much more potential as a game changer in a number of areas. The adoption by consumers will only be limited by the entrepreneurial minds who create opportunities, products and services based upon this new dimension.

3Dprinter.net sold for $60k. The potential for either of your 4D domains to realize sales of this magnitude is realistic.

Congrats. good grabs. I'll be watching over the next year or two to see nice sales figures achieved.

Obviously you would have to ask a lot 50k +

4th dimension on a printer is time. (and we are not talking printing time, but changing over time)

The reality is more like the Gs: 2G wow 3G better....3G wow 4G better...ect In other words there is a hurry to talk about the next level because the theorizing is 'cool'.

So the need for time at this moment and probably well into the future is WOW

But the practical is companies need to 3d print a pipe elbow

Good Luck

150k.

Which is not the same as what the domain is worth, which is what the poll asks.

Which is not the same as what I would accept, which depends on circumstances. It's probably early days for this, but in the long run imo number+print names lose value if people just assume "print" means objects so you don't need a prefix.

An interesting thing about 4d is people use it for branding. I have a few 3d and 4d names and the 4d ones surprise me by getting more type-ins, but it's not a lot.

Still 3d printing but i guess it has been given name of 4D based on post shape changing but could still argue strongly it is 3D. My first thought is the 4th dimension should still be the environment of the 3d user. But word phrases take on new meanings i guess so based on the technology i would say is a great name.

https://all3dp.com/4d-printing/
So, basically, 4D printing is a renovation of 3D printing wherein special materials to print objects that change shape post-production.
