Hi,
I'm not really too long in this business (2 months ago I didn't even know the word 'domain'
) and I'm still messing around with various options, so please excuse if my question sounds silly.
Not too long, I realised that a domain without traffic is useless for parking. So, I wondered what I could do with a domain until it sells or until I decide to get rid of it.
I remembered then that domainapps mentioned something called 'custom content' and tried it out... after some time of searching on the net I came accross SEO parking also, which had a similar approach and tried that out too.
My question is.
does the content I use while I wait for a chance to sell my domains, will be a problem with a future developer?
for example, I own some UK area code domains. I've set them up in domainapps to contain various articles, pics, weather etc. of the area code they describe in their URL.
another example would be my sturdybrakes domain which has articles about clutches, brakes, car parts etc.
I have set all my custom content domains crawled with webmaster tools and bing. I also have linked some of them (only those that have relevant info) between each other.
Right now, I notice that they have increased their citation and trust flow along with their index with google BUT that happened with the content I have set on them.
Again, am I doing something wrong? will that be a negative factor for a future company(?) that buys the domain if they have my content shown up in google's result and/or history?
I'd love some comments and guidance on this
Thanks in advance
