CSS image/div layering issues in IE

I just completed a redesign of my website, http://www.photoshopguides.com
I used Firefox primarily when developing it and it seems one of my recent changes to the stylesheet has made the tutorial icons hide under the tutorial description boxes when viewed in IE. I cannot seem to figure out what is wrong. Could someone help?

I think it's caused because u didn't set the border for those bars

oh yea, i see that. well i dont know css
but if for me, I will use tables to fix it.
put image in the left column of a table
