CSS Dropdown Menu, need some help...

Hey All,


How are you all doing, been a while for me to be here but i'm back with a question!

I am working on this great design of mine and I want to make quite a nice menu in it.

It will look alot like this ( a bit different cause i want the submenu to come above mine but i can fix that i guess )

But is there a way to make that menu without javascript? Cause that is my goal in this. I have checked alot of websites who all make dropdown menu's without css but none like the one i'm looking for.

Hmm,
its hard to find that kinda stuff in pure css because of the interactivity:

Its different, but you might be able to modify it to what you want.

Why do you want to do it without javascript?

If you're just concerned about making the navigation readable by search engines, then the solution at http://www.alistapart.com/articles/horizdropdowns/ might be what you're after. It uses a little javascript, but is basically css-driven.

If you really don't want to use javascript, then ask again. I think there's a solution that involves a proprietary behaviour file but I'd have to remind myself exactly how it works.

I really don't want to be using javascript because of the search engine factor and the fact that some of my readers aren't using it or can't display it properly.

So pure css would be recommend!
