I think also, this domain has very little or no value.

I cannot even think of a single domain I would buy with global extension as nothing goes with it. There isn't even a type in on offer with the extension. Travel dot global would be best of bad bunch even that I don't like enough to buy. I completely agree with what is said already. Reg fee as cannot say it is worthless.

THANKS I NEED THE FEED BACK - WHY NO VALUE
It will not be a first choice to buy.
You will only ever promote crypokit dot com which is a brand not generic.
It has zero search unpopular because must include keyword global to find it.
extension not popular
It is 2 words + extension.

Need any more reason to drop it?

No I get it - its a hard sale - But I was under the impression if APPLE announces that their next phones will have a built in cryptocurrency wallet/ tool for ios developers, under the name cryptokit - that it would add value to this domain

Then you breach a TM as you will try to also use it for crypto so could even cost you more.
Trade mark issue. You will pretty much have to drop it now as it is raised here in forum searchable by anyone.

I doubt if it was trademarked previous to me owning the domain

But if they own the dot com first their intellectual property would have a case.
If you created term first then you would have a better case you can't afford to fight these..

We all thought it had nothing going for it and for it to then be named after you heard Apple planned to use it poses problems Unless you planned on reselling their product with there permission I doubt their could be a use for it.

An attempt was made and then abandoned.

The domain is free for you.

Too many check the TMs and see they are regd but don't check the status. Also there are ways around as far as market and purpose. If anyone says anything in TM terms you can say it is intended for a camera setup for capturing new undiscovered species in the jungle. a.k.a. Crypto Kit

Looks legit at first on the list that comes up. Then you read it.

Good luck with it... but many are right about .com. That's why they call it the King.

I started about 6 months ago, bought a lot of crap because I didn't really get it. Now I have 6 domains at Squadhelp and 3 are flame-marked as in the top 10%.

Also have done a lot of research into names that I have now dropped etc.

Lesson to learn.

Don't drop because people tell you to. There has to be a reason. Some trademarks are restricted to certain countries. Some to certain markets. Some are registered but their status is Abandoned, Refused, or limited to a country or industry.

As far as Global tm brands like Apple and so on then you might get burned... unless it is intended for "The Organic Apple Company". Any mention of electronics, software or computers and you are in trouble.

You might want to check if Apple have actually registered a tm organic apples as well :xf.grin:

When buying dropped domains sometimes you see info that a company claim to have had a TM and you find a logo with TM. Some never had a TM and maybe didn't know it is a against the law to use TM when you don't have one.
