Creating email service?

Guys,
a question.
i have a great domain and been thinking for a a while about offering a free email service for people.

so they can have [email protected]

idea being, it will kickstart the domain/site and generate traffic
i can add forums or something completely different as an addition later, so email is there too.
i have some ideas for it later too but dont want to park it as i hate parking

so, question is, is this easy to do, is there a script for this, do u foresee lots of probs. is it virtually maintenance free. anyone tried ot?

I was looking through the mods for roundcube and found this:
Auto User Email Creation

I think... roundcube
+ mvision skin
+ user signup
( you have to register to download the plugins )

...would make a decent little email service.
