Does anybody else laugh when they see some of the prices people are asking for domains? I'm no expert, but seen some right crap on offer lately for xxxx+ Domains, I wouldn't pay x for!

Is it just me who gets a chuckle out of seeing these?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
GoDaddyGoDaddy
But you make the same thing - you are making complaints about annoying members by being annoying too

LISTEN !!! , if I go one step further and complain about you complaining about me complaining about you , this could all go into a worm hole with no return, I have seen vortex's in star trek with less risk exposure.

;) joking, fair enough, I shall go silent. im always on humor pills regardless.

He dont just bumping them, he is also bought banner space...
Instead to waste money much better could be make landing page for each domain..

It's not the bumping that's problematic. It's his pricing. The highest reported single letter .company went for 4k. And that would be as high as any sensible end user would go for this extension.

Heck, even g/company sold for just 1.5k. you'd think Google would've picked that up at that pricing but even they couldn't be arsed to spend some change on a single letter .company on the aftermarket.

I didnt mean his bumping, I mean his unrealistic-price-bumping.
If he would bump reasonable domains it wouldnt be a problem.
Here just blind ones still dont know know about his portfolio and he continues bumping on domainer community forum his 1m priced domains.
Big company have money, but the one of important cause of thier big fortune is reasonable investment, they will not waste 1m on domain + 450 yearly renewals.

Oh, trust me he was not banned for flogging .top's, he was banned for spamming people via pm and email.

He tried incessantly to sell the same domains and polluted virtually every topic with the same advertisements for his domains. He tried to sell me maple.rocks and it just went on and on even though I made it clear I was not interested. That was minor compared to what he and his brother did via email. The constant emails did not stop and there are a few choice members that simply don't understand that no means no.

It has nothing to do with what they are selling and more to do with HOW they are selling.
They beat the same horse in every topic, pm, and email it gets old pretty fast.

when you ignore somebody
you won't even know he's banned

sometimes it' a pitty

He already wasted more than 10k on his domains + promo. Instead of that he could buy and flip dozens of good domains.

In all markets the price depends on the demand.

saw a domain seller try to compare the sales price of a .com to a .ca
with different keywords in the domain...
most expensive .ca i could find was jobs.ca which sold for $600,000

.com to a .ca

I always start with a 10:1 ratio

That can be adjusted up or down depending on the domain

In certain rare circumstances a .ca can be worth more than a .com in Canada.

I was just offered the name of a city in Canada in .com and I turned it down. I would have bought it in .ca but it made no sense to buy it in .com

So in Canada I have seen lots of circumstances where people passed on the .com for a .ca but that only shows demand not value. The .coms will always be king but the penetration of .ca in Canada is nothing short of remarkable. Very similar to .de .uk .ru etc..... nobody can argue the success of ccTLD's and in rare instances they are worth more than .coms but those are few and far between.

Totally agree the demand in Canada for .ca make more sense and can command a great price. I was simply commenting that its not easy to compare one tld sale to a different... keyword .com and keyword .biz wont sell or command the same price..

I put it down to him being differently "wired" than most of us :)

But the real question is, what does @Almarri.Company think about this thread?

FYIII

Neither I am (nP - member) "@Banned" (?) nor I am banned (?) nor I am offering "crap costing thousands" (?) because my "crap" costs more hahaha

Further I reject all wrong / exagerating / ridiculess allegations that are made against me in this (or any other) thread - but however, I can understand your reactions (because I know that some of my domaining - views / domains are "polarizing") and beside a few posts, this (and other) thread(s) is (are) amusing and I hope you all doing great and I wish you all the t*p *

So, have you sold your top^63 domain?

That's a great question @mayazir but let's make it easier for @DOMAIN ILLUMINATI to respond to...

Have you ever sold a .top for more than 1k ?

I understand you are banking on future value, but what about in the present, are you making any sales?

Basically all arguments are mute when one is presented with actual sales data.

So let's set our differences aside and talk about sales data, as in do you have any for .top?

I am sure you can find that out by your own.

As I already stated in past, I decided to not publish my sales at this time.
But of course it is possible that I will change my mind, then I will publish (some or all of) them.

.
It was not question...
I know you still own it, so my question was not exactly question..
But now I want to ask you: how much you have spent on domains until now? and how much have you get from domains until now?

Of course it was a question, it has a question mark.

But now I want to ask you: how much you have spent on domains until now? and how much have you get from domains until now?
I generallyyy don't share my investions / profits (exceptions possible).

But now I ask you:

Howww much have you spent on domains until now?
And howww much have you get from domains until now?

Feel free to share your investions / profits if you like.

@DOMAIN ILLUMINATI, just think how many good domain you could buy and flip instead to invest in non-sellable domains. Even you you sell them somehow, your ROI will not cover your renewals.
Guys, if you have enough money and dont know what to do with them, better pay my electricity bill instead to reg crap
@mayazir, your concerns are 100 % unnecessaryyy because I 100 % knowww what good domains are (that's why I own them), you obviouslyyy don't knowww it (that's why you don't own them).

Just think how many good domains you could buy and flip instead to "invest" in "non-sellable" - domains.
Even if you sell them somehow, it seems your ROI does not cover your electricityyy billl

Guys, if you have enough moneyyy and don't know what to do with it, better payyy @mayazir's electricityyy billl
