Has anybody had any luck buying domains posted on craigslist?

I haven't heard anything about buying on CL but as with anything through that site, be careful and use caution.

Thought maybe it would be another angle to explore to find quality domains. I would only complete such transactions through escrow of course.

As long as you take the proper precautions I guess it really won't matter.

I have seen domains for sale on there a few times but I never responded myself.

IDK if anyone around here has any experience with domains on CL. Maybe someone else will share some experiences and/or thoughts.

If you use escrow you really cant go wrong. I see nothing wrong with finding alternate means of acquisition or sales be it posting on craigslist or using ebay. I have seen domains listed on ebay and always thought it was a good idea because everybody trusts ebay ect and to a novice buyer who is outside of the domain community, ebay is better than for example sedo...

Thanks for your sharing your knowledge. I have looked at the listings on Ebay and it's funny but i feel safer buying off Craigslist. I have been burned on a purchase before so i guess it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. Anybody else have an experience?
