Hi, I bought this domain about a 1.5 years ago.

I have gone back and forth on selling or developing it. I'm interested in hearing your opinions on value for both resell and development

It's a nice, valuable domain. Whether to develop is probably best assessed by considering its current natural traffic. Otherwise, if you intend to sell, either search out potential end users or try to get it placed in one of the domainer conference's live auctions.

The name is in the range of mid-high $xx,xxx end user.

This domain is worth around high $xxx to low $x,xxx reseller. IMO.

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that this is a FREE appraisal. This is a guess at quick flip resale value not an unrealistic end-user price. Often times my appraisals are rushed, too low, or too high. Sometimes my advice is totally wrong and occasionally downright dumb. I dont like the fact that its not plural.. Couples would be nicer IMO. The value is much less for that reason..

I like this name - especially as a couple / relationship site. I agree that the plural would be slightly better.

As for selling it as a domain only, I don't think you would get more than high $xxx or low $xxxx (especially in this recessionary market) for the domain alone.

Those who have read me over the years here know that I really do prefer developing domains into actual sites (or at least mini-sites).. it all depends on how much time you have to invest in the development effort. 1 hour per day ? 1 hour per week ?

I was in the auction for this domain and decided to let it go at the end.

Under the right conditions it could go to Mid $X,XXX, but I think $1000 - $2500 is more likely.

imo, always develop .ORGs.
as soon as you have traffic and income and show up on good google positions, buyers will knock at your door and pay good money.
and then sometimes you just decide too keep the name and don't sell it, because of the good monthly income.

but selling a .ORG name without content, is always bad for a seller (at the moment)

The quick poll was split almost most even at (rounded) 57% develop / 43% sell. With your input, plus some other checking, I have what I believe a reasonable number to try for the sell option. If I don't find a quick buyer, I will build out a relationship site and start driving traffic.

The domain will only get more valuable as time passes and I add traffic.

Again, I appreciate everyone's contribution.
