I bought this domain name for $2.50 and parked it about 5 weeks ago. Since then it's generated over $6.00 in revenue. It's not getting a tremendous amount of traffic but the click-thru rate is about 33%, which is very good by my standards.
Now I've been offered $300 for it by another domainer. Do you think I should sell and make a quick profit or hang on to it and see if the revenue continues or domain prices go up?
As a broader question, how does one figure past earnings into the price of a domain? If a domain earns, say, $50 in revenue per year, how much would that add to the price of the domain?
Thanks for your thoughts.
