its pretty safe to say cities.com is worth well into 6 figures so I really think that counties.com has a lot of value aswell.

I would say counties has about 10% the value of cities.com

Cities are where big business happens, and the big money is. I'd say low to mid $XXX

Really, it's got an ".ORG" appeal in my view ... "Cities" has that commercial potential, versus "Counties".

$225 - $375+/+ (Wholesale) ... perhaps $1750 - $2,500+ to the right End user, IMHO. It's a good domain name.

Maybe you could share some details about the circumstances of the sale and tell what the buyer's reasons were for buying the name. It could help in understanding the sales price.

This was not a retail end user.

The name is clearly just a good name.

Generic names with everlasting traffic is hard to find.

The lowest offer I had was $4000.

After I sold it, there was interest well above what I sold it at.

The name is really good, some see it some don't.

Appraisals ranged at DS from 0$ - $25 000

Guess it all depends on who is buying.
