Could you recommend a software that could do this?

1. I have a list of say,... 30,000 domain names in .txt file format
2. I want to upload this file into a Software.
3. Then this Software will search the internet to see if the domain is live or dead. I don't need the software to do anything else like looking for backlinks, PR or whatever.
4. Print out on screen, or export to a .txt file all the names that are dead.

Do you know a software that could do this?
Do I need a proxy to do this?

I don't know what you mean by "live or dead", but this can bulk search whois databases to see if a domain is registered or not.

What I mean by "live or dead" is, whether there's a website or not. For example, the Software will search for namepros.com and if there's a website or parked page, then it'll be live. But if it doesn't return any page, or "This page is not found", then it's considered dead.

Why would this help to you ?
Following your logic it would return "domains where dns-server is set wrong" as "page is not live".

Write a php script or pay someone to write one for you, im sure it would be not that hard, you could add a delay etc to the times that the domains are searched. Maybe try the board here for this sort of thing (developers/trading etc).
