Could a domain like this really be worth anything?

6 Letters long - pronounceable - but not a real a word. Estibot rates it at $740, but a few other automatic value estimators say it is only worth 18 or 20 bucks. Debating whether to register it, but not sure it is actually worth anything. Here are the Estibot stats. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

On the google keyword tool, Global Monthly Search Volume is 1600. When changed to exact it is 480.

As mentioned hard to say without knowing the exact domain but probably not. Be careful not to base your domain strategy on automated appraisal bots and number of Google searches. Spending time here at NamePros will give you way more useful information

not really. pronounceable and 5 letters or less are more solid. 6 is really pushing it. we are more interested in logical 2 word/6 letter domains.

Never register a domain name when in doubt. IMO.

This registration compulsion comes from the hidden encrypted messages beamed through your computer monitor by the madman Bob Parsons. These messages which are indiscernible without special infrared reading glasses are saying, "donate your money to the man, donate your money to the man".

You must train yourself to tune out these messages and only register domain names that are worth $xxx and up.

I know of an available .com domain that's 6-letters, pronouncable and has estibot value of $2400. So, I think you can afford to be a little more selective. There are probably better names out there to register than the one you're thinking of.
