First Core 2 Duo Desktops Announced

On Thursday at Intel headquarters in Santa Clara, the company hosted hundreds of Silicon Valley who's whos in a lavishly catered event to officially launch the much-anticipated Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme processors for consumer and business desktop and laptop PCs, servers, and workstations

"Core has become the first new premium brand at Intel since we introduced the Pentium 13 years ago," Otellini said. "We don't use this site for launches very often and I think it's a particularly good omen to be done here."

Pentium.net would have been worth a C&D. I'm think you have a troublesome name on your hands. I'd be pretty nervous owning it.
