My only thought would be as an idea generator site. People send in marketing solutions, and if it cooks your socks - meaning, you think it is a 'hot' marketing idea, then you post it on your site, and give them credit via a link back to their site.

Socks could come into play as an icon. If it is a decent idea, put two burning socks by the idea. If it is a good idea, then 3 socks. Amazing ideas might have 4 burning sock icons beside them.

Rogue, I think this has been the best idea so far. CookMySock Marketing. A site with Hot Marketing/Advertising Tips. Thanks, I will definately keep that in mind.

I am pretty sure that I don't want to do a cooking/recipe site, but I did like the idea. I hadn't thought of cooking.

I was thinking, when I regged this name, that it would perhaps be a forum/site where folks could go to tell whoever (you know, that guy/girl that pisses you off to no end) to CookMySock! Then, maybe there would be a counter and people could vote for the biggest Sock Cooker of the week.

I do have to say that, although this name makes no sense, I can't get it out of my head. Does anybody else feel the same way?

I am still looking for comments from the rest of the forum. I know most will say this domain is worth $0, but you have to admit that it has generated quite a few replies, which suggests to me that it's at least "catchy" and/or controversial/confusing.
