Hey Jeff, I was asking for your appraisal. I wasn't intending to get slammed.

I asked for the appraisal here, because I wasn't sure about the original appraisal (as I told you in PM).

But when I asked for an appraisal, I didn't expect to get "from a known scammer!", and thats it..

Please offer your opinion.

What do you think it's worth, and why?

I personally think mid XX,xxx is accurate as Monra stated, and as two different appraisals have said. This is why.

First, check out this business plan, and see just how valuable this industry is:
http://www.techpronow.com/contractrequest.htm

Look up "contract" in google. Super hot keyword.

And now, with hurricane Katrina devestating the southern hemisphere of the US, and being as the prez said "one of the worst disasters in US history".

There will be a very high demand for contractors.

So I base my evaluation on this:

The already hot contractor market is soon to triple in revenue if not do more than triple, because of the hurricane.

It is google keyword friendly.

Short and sweet domain name.

Has the potential to be very brandable, and easily promoted.

Is already 100% developed to start brokering contracts.

Is nearly 2 years old, is not just a new domain name, and is already in many search engines..

So while that appraisal company is shady apparently. It seems that many other people appraise it at mid XX,xxx.

For entertainment purposes, I am getting a Sedo.com appraisal.

Not that I enjoy wasting money on appraisals. But since I have already entertained myself with one paid appraisal, I will do one more from a credible company.

Apparently it takes 3 days, but we'll see what the results are.

As you can see, I've already done my own foot work on this. But I think that it would be interesting what other people would have to say.

I'll let you know.

Simply warning you - and the community - that this Allfordomains is a known scammer ... and that money is wasted with their "paid appraisals", IMHO. It's also well documented here on the site, and you being new to the Board I figured I'd try to be of assistance.
I apologize if you misunderstood my inital post/intent (and had planned to follow up with an humble, honest appraisal, as well) - again to warn yourself and others, not to slam you or the domain name! :gl:
