Has anyone had any success with contests on their website?

I am currently working with a clothing website who wants to start implementing contests to encourage users to come back to site. The market is women aged 16-35.

Anyone have any creative ideas for kinds of contests to execute?

i've done different kind of contests on forums, they have seemed to work well depending on the prizes offfered

i've seen the contests forum on this site. new to this site i haven't really figured out the whole name buck thing.

but what i am working i with is an actual online site that sells clothing, seeking to create a more compelling experience...a way to get more interaction with customers...a way to get them to keep coming back or keep the site in mind for future reference.

the prizes that could most easily be offered are gift certificates for clothing, or free clothing. please suggest or refer me to any sites that are implementing contests in a creative way. thanks.
