CONTEST - Wanted: LOGO & SITE DESIGN

Ok guys n Gals! Here's another contest from me!

This time we're looking for 2 things.

1. A Company LOGO that will also be a Badge (will explain more in a few) $75

2. A Website designed off that logo concept $75

So if you do both you'll get $150

Also if it's exceptional we may consider a bonus, I've done it before, I've also paid runner ups before too even though the design was not immediately use.

Here is the concept
Tactical Tested

This is a company that does Tactical Testing for Gear. Gear for military people, contractors, police, outdoorsman, paintballers, survivalists etc

Tactical Tested will test this gear for durability and the claims fo the company. The type of gear that will be tested will range from Boots, Gloves, Flashlights, Knives, Vests, Armor, Optics like scopes and binoclulars etc, and some weapons.

It's a civilian version of Mil Spec, Tactical Testing will have it's own set of standards where they test these items in extreme temps, wind, water, shock, etc.

The logo and site should represent this, represent toughness, durability.

The logo can be just the logo, but we will also want a Badge of sorts whther it's a shield, a round badge, a diamond, or a quare, that customers who have had their products pass these tests can place on their website and literature.

The badge should also have a small space that can be edited to place Certificate # of the test, so that people can't just grab the badge and put it on their site.

If you are entering a website it would be preffered if you could code it as well. If not please let me know.

As for the site requirements looking for main entrance page which will be impressive, and another page or two that can be ussed for content like a page about what the company does and how it works, and maybe an example page of what a product report could look like with room for pictures, videos, and s spec sheet and summary.

Maybe you can post some ideas you have for a logo?

Also, how is this contest going to work? Is it first for a logo, and once the logo is chosen, the website contest will begin? So the website can be designed off of the New Logo?

Well I'd rather hold back any ideas from me right now so we can see some fresh perspectives uninfluenced by us.

As for log or site both can be done at the same time.. i have a feeling logos will come in first and sites will follow though, you guys will see the trend.

The term Tactical Tested doesn't give much clue by whom it was tested. Wouldn't it be more informative to include a web address or a company name in the logo/badge?

When you see this seal of approval on a product and there is an approval number on it then you would want to go to the website and check it. So I was thinking the seal should include sufficient informatioın for the end user to find the web address.

that is the name of the company and is what the url is , thanks guys keep them coming! Great attempts guys! UMXCA's is a bit better than the others.. keep them coming.. try that tough look, yet official looking.

Also anyone have an idea as to why imgaeshack.us images don't show in firefox but do in ie?

colors to be used could be mil colors black, tan, Olive Drab, or maybe some stainelss steel with rivets for toughness.. just some ideas.. but do your own thing if you have better ideas

well i think we need to get a design concept and logo first but for site design or concept if you can only do a psd then i may be able to accept if if we can find a coder
