Contest: $ for Voting Button

I need a button my members can put on their site for their visitors to vote.

My site:
http://www.TopPixels.com

Example of the stock button that comes with the script I'm using is at the bottom right hand side of http://www.2for1pixels.com . I don't want it to look too much like that, if anything, I'd want it to look like the one next to it from another topsite.

Requirements:

• Size: 88x31 pixels
• As small in file size as possible
• Format: jpg or gif
• Needs to have a border of some sort.
• Would like to see some color, since I'm sure you've seen my ability to chose colors on my site (poor)
• "TopPixels.com" needs to be on it
• Something along the lines of "Vote Now", "Vote", "Vote for my site", etc needs to be on it
• It really needs to pop and look clean and professional
• Animation is a plus!
• Hope that's not too many requirements

Wow, that was fast. This one's too light colored for me. I also don't really like the "fuzzy" type fade. These buttons only have a split second to grab people's attention. Please keep trying though!

I like the colors but am not too keen on the font for TOPPIXELS.COM because the two P's look bad next to each other. I like TopPixels.com better since it seperates the words. Can you give me a little more pizazz too? For example (but not what you SHOULD do), " -=:VOTE NOW:=- instead of just a flashing "VOTE NOW".

Here's a suggestion:

Make the VOTE NOW or VOTE FOR THIS SITE, etc. pop up first, nice and big. Then brand the button afterwards with TopPixels.com

Make people feel they NEEEEEED to click on this button!

Nice professional colors, but I think I need something a little brighter. Also, read the two critiques above, I need something that gets to the point quickly and I need TOP and PIXELS to look seperated (so use TopPixels.com). One more thing, the www. is in the upper left hand corner, then the TopPixels.com is in the middle. Maybe make the .com in the lower right hand corner?

Still not liking the colors, and I would prefer TopPixels.com over TOP PIXELS .COM

I liked the stars in the back.

The vote now getting bigger was cool!

I don't like the TopPixels.com though. The X looks darker and the P looks faded.

Can you try putting something cool in the background too?

Are you using a stock background for this? I kind of wanted it to be unique. The BG is nice, but seems familiar to me.

I think if all of the words came in smoothly instead of choppy like that it would be better. Also, try TopPixels.com instead of TOP PIXELS .COM

Overall, looking good, but I still need more. Try working on the fonts, and try playing with animated borders to see if that can add some flare to the button. I hope my criticism is helping you.

All of my work is 100% me. I do not use "stock" backgrounds. What do you mean "smoothly"?

Added a cool shine effect. I also fixed the faded letter issue. The border also does a cool blinking effect when the Vote Now gets bigger to emphasize.

Sorry if I offended you in any way, just wanted to make sure.

I meant smoothly as in no pause between words. Like, one word is always following another, whereas now one word goes in it's place before another comes on the screen.

That's neat. The TOPPIXELS.COM still needs work! Try making the T in top and P in pixels bigger.

Also, I don't think I like just Top Pixels by itself.

He has a point though. An ANIMATED 88x33 banner for $5 is already in a way pushing it. It takes alot of work sometimes to do some animations and he tried his best. I am still in this contest because i know you really want that banner, however, he does have a point.
