The most popular is Joomla. It's free and easy to install. Plus, it has a ton of extra modules you can install (forums, photo gallery, themes..etc)

I myself prefer xoops (xoops.org)..Simple install, support forums, lots of extra features, and its free...

I Agree. Although I'm not a user of CMS softwares, Joomla is highly recognized throughout the internet. Not only is it easy to install, but it is very flexible, so it just needs a few tweaks to put it in your needs.

It is highly secured, and coded very well.

I myself prefer xoops (xoops.org)..Simple in

I too prefer Xoops... Very easy to install and use. Can be used for just about anything. Would recommend it for a first time CMS user, it's where I started using CMS
