The European Union's new .eu and Canada's .ca claimed two positions each and .cc (Cocos Keeling Islands) posted one of the largest sales we have ever seen in that extension with US.cc going for $6,000 at Sedo. The seller was Ron James, who is the owner of the NamePros.com domain forum.

I have no idea... but I thought this would be the last time I'll ever own those two letters in any extension. Most TLD's now have a three character minimum, and the ones that do allow two letter domains usually have 'US' as a reserved term.
