It doesn't look like there's too many appraisals going on. I've asked for a few, people seem to look at the request, but then just close out and leave.
Sorry. I'm brand new, and I can't help you at all.
Usually if you don't get appraisials either people believe it isn't worth much and don't want to just jump in and say Reg fee, or They do not know anything about the extension.
I agree. I give appraisals for only what i know.
If I don't know about an extension, I just won't post. It is better to get an accurate appraisal than someone saying "reg fee" or $XX,XXX when they have no idea.
It's pretty easy to remember... I think it's a good name. As far as $ value goes, I have no idea. I'd have to see recent .cx sales. Do you have any of that info?
In my opinion, the .cx extension will be big pretty soon. I own social.cx, and I recommend you hold on to this for a while. That is if the 50 dollars a year doesn't set you back to far.
Computers is a great keyword, but sales of .cx domains are very rare.
Here are the only 5 I could find :
flowers.cx $200 on 2007-01-17 (Sedo)
jesus.cx $162 on 2006-12-20 (Ebay)
biz.cx $200 on 2005-03-04 (Afternic)
gay.cx $200 in November 2003 (Afternic)
lasvegas.cx $150 in April 2003 (Afternic)
Yeah, as I see .cx sales are really very rare. Only five sales in 5 years... However, I'll be keeping this domain for at least 3 years, so maybe sale of .cx will grow.
By the way, interesting info:
Cocos(Keeling) islands(.cc) population - 628
Christmas island(.cx) population - 1,493
Tuvalu(.tv) population - 11,992
As you can see population, doesn't affect extension's value. Notwithstanding Cocos islands haven't got only thousand people, but usage of .cc is widely. So I think .cx isn't worse.
