Complaint to Estee Lauder

Good Grief.

When I went on my Yahoo email, Estee Lauder had this annoying banner ad that blocked access to my inbox.

And there was no way to x out the ad, so I simply shut the email down and wrote the following message on the Estee Lauder contact form:

I have a complaint about the way you advertise on Yahoo; your stupid ad effectively disabled my email by blocking my access to my inbox.

Do you REALLY think that advertising in such a manner is going to sell your products?

You are seriously delusional if you think annoying potential customers is the way to sell merchandise.

And do not spam my email with offers for your products.

I don't know why companies feel that potential customers would find such sh*t endearing.

DJuqa,

Good question.

I opened the account in 2001, so I have a lot of my contacts in it.

But it's definitely a garbage email service, and this last stunt may be just enough to get me to abandon it.

I'd blame Yahoo for that. Some of their ads have been very annoying indeed.
