Would appreciate your thoughts on CommercialArt.com. I've found indexed pages on this one from 1996 and have recently set it up as a resource for commercial artists. Please suggest a price in it's current state as a web site with recently added board. Would also appreciate your recommendations on the model. I'm using wordpress, but am thinking it may be better as a clip art download site. Many thanks! Johnny

Man, I wish I had that domain, would definitely develop it into something big.

I don't like the site. You have a great domain to start with, I would make a social networking type of site, where artists have their own profile where they can upload their work, sell it, etc..

Thanks for the feedback! I've actually that about a Joomla install with user profiles/blogs, etc.... I may do something like that... Right now, I've just got a message board for user interaction, but I like your idea! Take care, Johnny

Killer name. Unlike starving artists, commercial artists actualy make money lol. Might even be a good time for them as companys would rather redo their labels and packaging then spend big money on developing new products. iHireCommercialArt .com is going after the commercial art jobs middle man play, no reason you cant muscle your way in, you got the better name. Alot of potential. Think about when hotels, offices, etc when they buy art for their company. They buy in volume and some like expensive pieces. Could be a real money making site.

I agree with others in that it has great potentials but that requires a lot of efforts and marketing. The value of the domain name is high $xxx to low $x,xxx imo.
