Good point. I was thinking maybe something along the lines of raising money for people in need. Like those fund raising sides when people need cash for hospital bills or similar.

If you mean this phrase for someone in need, then "cash" is not the right fit.

"I need your help" or "I need your support" are very emotional. "I need your money" is rude. "I need your cash" is outright cold blood.
