you need to build a site with decent activity to be of any value...the dot ca does not make it a big seller as a domain on its own.

Yes I would agree with that. Gonna try it with noomle, add some content and get it indexed for Canadian related colloidal silver searches and see what the click revenue is like.

The .com is appraised at over $100,000. It would just have to be marketed for a Canadian demographic. Its medical/therapeutic use is highly contested which creates the need for a lot of info searching and makes it a hot topic (potential for a lot of user comments and blogging). Besides that, every homeopathic outfit sells colloidal silver supplements.

there seems to be alot of natural traffic after only afew days of parking. Odd for a niche .ca

pbeta do you really make any money from CPC such as minisite on a .ca

Because I have never made any, very little. It is hard enough to get traffic to any website, even a .com

Whereas .ca are not even present when searching using google.com or other countries Googles which is not Canada.

I now only develop .com's because I feel they do the best in SERPS and they can be found in any of googles search engines. .com .it .ca .cn you name it.

I have sold more .ca's and gotten more natural type-in traffic from more .ca domains than .coms because there are rich-key word .ca's still available where as there are no .com's left.

Believe it or not, in between eating seal blubber and paddling our canoes, some of us Canadian's have internet access in our tipis and are quite familiar with the .ca suffix. Clearly it isn't and will never be as lucrative as .com but they are gaining momentum and I am having nothing but positive experiences with them.

Can anyone explain why I have such a high CTR with this domain? It is currently parked and is receiving a relatively high level of traffic considering it isn't developed.

Also, it is known that ESTIBOT appraisals are very inaccurate, but what dollar amount do you think would be appropriate for this domain? I have just received an offer for 120.00, however since registered, I have made almost 50$ in click revenue with it parked.

Man, that is a hacked-up minisite if I ever saw one; things load all over the screen, at least for me.
Aesthetics aside, you seem to have enough content on there for Google to like it, your site is on page 1 when I google the term here in Canada. That's quite possibly the source of most of your traffic. Since your adsense is in a glaringly in your face spot, that prob accounts for the high ctr. Nice going, getting some income from this name+extension.
Without the traffic I'd appraise pretty low unless a Canadian co really wanted the name - you might email a list of end users and try it out at a K or 2...
If the traffic stays regular or increases, it's obviously legit since your site is high on google up here, so you could possibly sell your name for multiples of the monthly traffic.

Has it been doing better for you lately as a site with adsense, than it did parked... or worse? Let us know.
