Thank you for sharing. I don't own the area.codes and zip.codes. These are great names. I was going to registered them, but it was taken already. I'm not sure who owns them. Product.codes will be just additional to my domains collection. So it will not be developed. I can only imagine if it developed. It might create some traffics....Since the whole world make all kinds of products with codes...

.codes aren't cheap...but it should hold some values. Codes are being used in a wide varieties of this and that..

If the gov, demand the world to provide some kind of codes or identification of each product that they produced; then .codes will more likely to stay... around and hold its value. Not bad for your investment.

Any example? I was planning to sell .codes because I didn't find many .codes users. According to ngtld stats it has barely 5000 users.

Keep in mind, the .codes is not cheap to registered. And it's new extension? And not much marketing going around. In my openion, .codes don't have much used; however, it play some important game in all business industries. If you understand the business industries and around it; then maybe you can find a good name.

IT programers uses all kinds of codings? In this regard, how many programers in the world? Each programers might want to be more organized; and create their own .codes place to put their codes..

Enter.codes is another important name. Imagine how many private houses and buildings around the world enter codes daily..

Banks, hospitals and other industries do they used some kinds of codes??? In this regard, .codes does not need of much marketing. It's already being used. However, each business and industry still not organized and arranged....

I think it works great as a brand if its a good keyword. I bought it to develop but it got put on hold for other projects. I was originally thinking of some sort of a discount codes site for it but a blog for coders could work too where they just share code.

Product codes is a great one to do something with or sell. Wouldn't be a small project though.

My gut feeling about this codes extension is not easy; I'm am afraid in the near furture gov might demand that all technology, including phones to have stored their codes in a special storage... you can input your thoughts about this. I will be happy to hear your thoughts about this..arrangement..

Yeah discount codes was long gone when I checked.
That would get a lot of traffic and easy to remember.

For tech login codes I can see what you're saying but not sure if it will happen.
Google have developed a tattoo/chip that allows the carrier of it to login automatically on approaching tech so it personalizes whatever to your account. not to sure of details, was something I read a little while back.
